Al-Ameen Medical College at Bijapur in the state of Karnataka was started in the month of September 1984. This is a privately owned college popularly known as AMC, Bijapur, and well known for its world-class infrastructure and research center. The college premises spread over 200 acres of land on western hills in the historical city of Bijapur. Al-Ameen Medical college building consists of a 500-bed main hospital equipped with modern amenities to cater to the needs of the people of Bijapur.
The campus has lush green surroundings with a serene environment that makes the people calm and provides a well-suited place for study. Al-Ameen Medical College is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and the college has been recognized by NMC (Earlier MCI) since 1994.
