Ashwini Rural Medical College Hospital and Research Center is the very first private Medical College in the Solapur district in the state of Maharashtra. It was established in 2012 and in such a short period, the college has gained much appreciation from the competent medical bodies of the state. ARMCH, Solapur is well approved by the National Medical Commission (Earlier MCI), New Delhi. Since the inception of the college, it has been affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. However, the college has been a constituent of M.M. Patel Public Charitable Trust, Solapur.

The college campus is huge in size and infrastructure. Ashwini Rural Medical College Solapur Eligibility Criteria:

Ashwini Rural Medical College offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level and MD, MS at the Postgraduate level. ARMCH, Solapur is a privately established medical Institution in the state facilitating with appropriate reservation as per the order mentioned by DMER, Mumbai. To secure a seat in MBBS and PG Courses in ARMCH, Solapur, the candidates need to hold certain eligibility criteria which are discussed below.

For MBBS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same. 

• Candidates need to attain 17 years of age till 31st of Dec. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained in any circumstances.

• Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile. 

For MD/MS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.

• Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March in the same year of applying.

• Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.

• Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET-PG for General Category and reserved category, the requirement is 40 percentile in the same.

As one of the Newest Private Medical Colleges in the Southern region of Maharashtra, Ashwini Rural Medical College, Solapur is imparting several Advanced Postgraduate Medical Courses. At present, ARMCH offers MD in several Clinical and Non-Clinical specializations along with MS in Orthopaedics and ENT, etc with a duration of 3 years. All the admissions to these PG Courses in the ARMCH, Solapur are based on the score of NEET-PG followed by the centralized counselling conducted by the Maharashtra Cet, Mumbai on the behalf of DMER, Mumbai. 

Candidates need to participate in the counseling conducted by MahaCET for distinct quotas.
