About Christ University Law Admission 2023

School of Law, Christ University invites applications of Christ University Law Admission 2023 for admission to the BA LLB, BBA LLB and LLM courses for the academic year 2023. The BA LLB (Bachelor of Law) and BBA LLB (Bachelor of Law) Programmes are 5-year integrated law programmes. The LLM (Master of Law) programme is a 1-year course. The admission to the programmes takes place through different Entrance Tests followed by further tests and interviews as per the programme.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] + Bachelor of Laws [L.L.B.] {Hons.}

  • Passed the 10+2 level examination in any stream (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce, Science and Management) from any recognised Board in India (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / IGCSE / IB)
  • 10+2 should be passed with a minimum of 45% marks.
  • Candidate should be below the age of 20 years as on July 1, 2023.

Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Law [BALLB] {Hons.}

  • Passed the 10+2 level examination in any stream (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce, Science and Management) from any recognised Board in India (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / IGCSE / IB)
  • 10+2 should be passed with a minimum of 45% marks.
  • Candidate should be below the age of 20 years as on July 1, 2023.

LLM

  • For Indian candidates: Passed LLB (3 or 5-year course) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university (final year candidates can apply on a provisional basis).
  • For International candidates: Either produce evidence of passing the qualifying examination in English medium, or Candidate must have IELTS 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5 or TOEFL (paper) 550.

Application Form

  • Candidates can apply for Christ University Law Admission 2023 either through Online Mode or Offline Mode.
  • For Offline Mode, a candidate can obtain the Application Form after remitting the prescribed fee at Counter No. 7, Office of Admissions, Ground Floor, Central Block, Christ University Main Campus, Bengaluru.
  • For Online Mode, download the Application Form from the University website. Fill in the application online and submit.

Application Fee

  • The application fee will be Rs. 1000 as SBI Application Processing Fee Challan.
  • The fee can be paid to any Core Banking Branch of State Bank of India/ a valid Credit Card/ Debit Card or Net Banking facility, and then fill in the applications in online mode.

Documents to be sent with the application form

  • Copy of mark sheets of Class 10th, Class 11th or Class 12th.
  • SBI Application Processing Fee Challan.
  • Transfer Certificate from last qualified institution
  • Migration certificate if you are from outside Karnataka
  • Copy of passport and visa page (if applicable)
  • Two recent passport size photographs.
  • Two stamp size photographs wearing the formal dress with a white background
  • The filled-in printed Application form duly signed by you and your parent/guardian.
  • Provisional Degree Certificate or Degree Certificate in case of LLM Admission

 

Admission Process

For both BA LLB Programme and BBA LLB Programme

  • Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Christ University Law Entrance Exam (CULEE) followed by Skill Assessment Test (SA), Micro Presentation(MP), and Personal Interview (PI).
  • A list of shortlisted candidates based on the CLUEE who further appear for SA, MP and PI tests will be declared before the declaration of the final merit list.

For LLM

  • Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Entrance Test followed by a Skill Assessment (SA) test and Personal Interview (PI).

 

Exam Pattern

For CULEE

  • The exam will be held in offline mode for a duration of 2 hours.
  • There will be five sections – English Language, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and Data Analysis.
  • The Exam shall comprise a total of 120 questions carrying maximum marks of 120.
  • Each correct answer shall be awarded one mark.
  • 25 marks will be deducted from the total scored marks for every wrong answer.

LLM Entrance Test

  • The duration of the Entrance Test will be 30 minutes.
  • Each correct answer carries one mark.
  • Each wrong answer will deduct 0.25 marks.
