What is JEE Advanced? Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must fulfill each of the eligibility criteria tabulated below in order to qualify for JEE Advanced 2022 examination.
- JEE Advanced 2022 Eligibility Criteria has been relaxed. Candidates who were not able to appear for the exam in 2020 or 2021 due to COVID-19 and have qualified JEE Main are eligible to directly appear for the exam this year.
- This relaxation in JEE Advanced 2022 Eligibility Criteria is a one-time opportunity for the 2022 session.
- Candidates are however required to register for JEE Advanced 2022 separately and pay the registration fee as well

- Candidates who qualify in JEE Main 2022 (top 2,50,000 candidates) can complete JEE Advanced 2022 registration from June 08, 2022 (10AM) to June 14, 2022 (5 PM).
- JEE Advanced 2022 application forms are released online only.
- Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to register for JEE Advanced 2022.
- Viist the official website for JEE Advanced- jeeadv.ac.in
- Log in with your JEE Main 2022 credentials.
- After login, candidates will be required to provide basic information and preference of the city for examination.
- Candidates will also be given the option to add an additional number and email id in addition to their registered number and email id for JEE Main.
- Candidates should ensure that the mobile number and email id are active at all times as all the important intimations will be communicated to the candidates on those.
- Upload scanned copies of required documents.
- Pay registration fees.

- JEE Advanced Exam Pattern is not pre-defined by the examination authorities. However, based on the past year's papers, some highlights on JEE Advanced 2022 exam pattern have been mentioned below.
- Candidates will be provided information regarding negative marking (if any) at the time of examination in the instructions of JEE Advanced 2022.
- Candidates have the option to choose their preferred medium i.e English or Hindi at the time of examination, candidates can also switch between the language as and when they prefer.
- Appearance in Paper 1 and Paper 2 is mandatory, if candidates do not appear in any one of those, they will be considered absent in JEE Advanced 2022.

JEE Advanced AAT(Architecture Aptitude Test) 2022
JEE Advanced 2022 qualified candidates who wish to pursue a B.Arch course in IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, and IIT Varanasi have to appear for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2022.
- The registration window for AAT 2022 will be open from July 18 to July 19, 2022.
- AAT 2022 will be conducted at all IITs on July 21, 2022 (9:00 am to 12:00 pm).
- Only candidates who clear JEE Advanced 2022 will be able to register on the official website- jeeadv.ac.in. Other eligibility criteria for class 12th remain the same
- Candidates appearing for AAT 2022 will have to carry their JEE Advanced 2022 Admit Card along with a valid ID proof to the test center.
- Candidates have to also carry their own coloring and drawing aids on the exam day.
- The cut off marks for passing the Architecture Aptitude Test 2022 will be decided by the Joint Implementation Committee of JEE Advanced 2022

- Admit Card will contain details like the name of the candidate, Roll number for JEE Advanced 2022, Photograph, Signature, date of birth, category, and Examination Center.
- The candidate should ensure that all information in the admit card is correct, if there is any discrepancy, the candidate should bring it to the notice of the Zonal Chairman for JEE Advanced 2022.

JEE Advanced 2022 Results
- Candidates can log in to the JEE Advanced 2022 Online Portal to check their results.
- Category wise Rank list will also be released after the results are declared.
- The scorecard for JEE Advanced will contain the aggregate scores obtained by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Candidates will also be intimated through their registered mobile number and email Id, However, candidates will not be sent individual scorecards.

JEE Advanced Cut off varies for different categories of candidates. JEE Advanced Cut off (qualifying) contains the minimum marks to be secured by candidates in each subject and in aggregate to qualify the IIT JEE Advanced exam. JEE Advanced Admission Cut offs are different from the qualifying cut offs and they are released by JoSAA after every round of counselling (in the form of opening and closing ranks).

JEE Advanced 2022 Reservation Policy
Based on the reservation rules of the Government of India, JEE Advanced 2022 reservation of seats will be done for SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ GEN-EWS/ PwD/ DS candidates.
- For PwD candidates (with 40% or more disability), there is a horizontal reservation of 5% across all the below-mentioned categories.
- For Defence Service personnel, 2 seats are reserved in each JEE Advanced participating institute under the DS category.
