Puducherry PG medical Admission 2022

To get Medical(MD/MS) admissions for the year 2022 in Pondicherry Medical Colleges, we need to apply for Pondicherry Medical State Counselling. The authority of Pondicherry Medical Counselling is ACPMEC. In order to get admission through state quota every candidate must apply for this counselling by the steps explained below. Eligibility Criteria – Pondicherry Medical(MD/MS) Counselling 

Below are the common requirements that every MD/MS aspirant must meet to participate in Pondicherry MD/MS Counselling 

• You need to have an MBBS provisional and course completion certificate from the respective medical college which is recognized by MCI.
• You need to have an registration certificate issued by MCI.
• Must possess an 1 year experience of internship upon completion of course by the time of applying to counselling.
• Must qualify in NEET-PG exam on the same term that respective counselling is conducted. 

Step By Step Procedure of Pondicherry MD/MS Counselling:

In order to make you understand about the procedure of counselling, I’ve divided the process into five simple steps:

Step 1: Registration for MD/MS Counselling:

Candidate need to register in the official website of CENTAC and submit their educational and personal details and the candidate need to pay the registration fee and download the registration form and also you can upload it in your Google Drive as a backup or take a printout.

Step 2: Declaration of Merit List:

After the examination and registration process, CENTAC will prepare and declare the merit list of all eligible candidates. Candidate needs to verify merit number and category as mentioned in registration details.

Step 3: Choice Filling and College Locking:

Upon the declaration of merit list. candidate needs to check their rank and name in the merit list and select the colleges from the list of the colleges shown on official website of CENTAC then he must select and lock the college.

Step 4: Results of Pondicherry Medical(MD/MS) Counselling:

Upon filling and locking the colleges, candidate can check his counselling results on mentioned date in official website. You can simply login using your credentials and check the counselling results whether the seat is allotted or not. If the seat is not allotted they need to apply for the second round of the counselling.

Step 5: College Reporting and Document Submission:

Once the candidate got allotted in counselling, they have to submit their documents to the allotted college within time mentioned by CENTAC.

After paying the fee submit the original documents at Allotted college:

1. Allotment Letter of CENTAC.

2. Tuition Fee Receipt showing the paid one term (6 months).

3. All year MBBS/BDS attempt-wise mark sheets.

4. 12 months internship completion certificate (8 months internship completion certificate will not be valid for confirmation of admission).

5. Copy of NEET-PG Marksheet of current academic year.

6. Provisional Registration of State Medical Council / State Dental Council or Medical/Dental Council of India (In case of fresh candidates only who have just completed their internship) / Permanent Registration of State Medical Council / State Dental Council OR Medical/Dental Council of India (In case of old pass out candidates).

7. Document showing Date & Place of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate).

8. For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Cast certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Pondicherry State only.

9. For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha ‘4’ in Pondicherryi/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Pondicherry State only dated on or after 01/04/2017.

10. For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Pondicherry State only.

11. Copy of Passport – if Citizenship is Dual/ Foreign.

12. Photocopy of Disability Certificate issued by Competent Authority.
