BMS College of Engineering Highlights 2022

Founded in 1946, BMS College of Engineering (popularly known as BMSCE) is located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. BMS College of Engineering is accredited by the NAAC with A++ grade and CGPA of 3.83 on a scale of four. It is the first college of Karnataka to be accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The college has been approved by the AICTE and UGC. Currently, BMS College offers 13 undergraduate and 16 postgraduate courses in conventional and emerging areas. A total of 5,000 students are actively pursuing their higher studies and 350 research scholars their PhD degrees at BMSCE. Also, the college is a partner institute of the Melton Foundation, USA.

BMS College of Engineering also holds permanent affiliation with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. BMSCE ranked 98 among top Engineering colleges in the NIRF Ranking 2021. The college consists of 18 departments under the streams of Engineering, Management, Science and Research. BMS College of Engineering Courses and Fees 2022

BMSCE offers full-time BE programmes in 14 and ME in 15 specialisations at UG and PG level, respectively. The duration of BE is four years and that of ME is two years. Other than these, the institute also offers full-time MBA and MCA programmes.

BMSCE admission 2022 usually begins in January along with the registration for MBA and MCA courses. Whereas, the UG application process starts in February. Admission to each programme is merit and entrance based. Candidates can also seek BMS College of Engineering admission via lateral entry and management quota seats. BMS College of Engineering application procedure is conducted in both online and offlibe modes. Candidates must send the application form along with the demand draft to the official address of BMS Educational Trust, Bull Temple Road, Bangalore. BMS College has an independent Placement and Training Centre (PTC) which looks after the recruitments of all the students. A total of 1,299 offers were made to the UG and PG students during BMS College of Engineering placements 2021. Huawei Scholarships for excellence

BMS College of Engineering has signed a MoU with Huawei Technologies India. Under this scholarship, INR 50,000 each are given annually to students of second, third and fourth year BTech students. The scholarship is awarded to 10 students with high academic performance to encourage academic excellence and pave the way for career growth.

BMS College of Engineering Infrastructure

Located in the heart of Bangalore, BMSCE is about 5 kms from the Central Railway Station. The campus area is spread in over 11 acres. The college offers advanced classrooms, upgraded labs and separate hostel facility for both boys and girls. The campus is wi-fi enabled with 24x7 internet facilities in the departments and hostels. Basic facilities such as water heaters, Volleyball Court, TV lounge, indoor games such as Carrom Board and Table Tennis are also provided. BMS College of Engineering also comprises a central library developed in 1.1 acre, data center, counselling center and other sports facilities. In order to provide its students with optimum healthcare, BMSCE also offers multidimensional hospital, where anyone can seek cure and are under the guidance of experienced doctors without worrying about the cost.

BMS College of Engineering Results

BMS College of Engineering publishes results of the term-end examinations on the college’s official website. The college conducts semester-wise results of all the UG and PG programmes such as BTech, MTech, MBA and MCA. Candidates can check the semester results by logging in to the website and clicking on the ‘Results’ tab. BMSCE releases term-end results after a month of the examination.
