Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore

Christian Medical College, popularly known as CMC, Vellore is one of the oldest Medical Colleges in the Country. The college has been occupying its importance for a long time. This is a privately owned medical college established a century ago. CMC, Vellore was founded in 1918 by a Christian Missionary. This Institute is unaided, non-capitation and a christian minority Medical Institute. Initially the college was affiliated with the University of Madras but later its affiliation got shifted with Dr. MGR Medical University, TamilNadu. CMC, Vellore is well known for imparting Excellence of Medical Education since its establishment. The college has a vast green campus in the beautiful city of Vellore, Tamilnadu. All the Courses conducted by the Institute are approved by the Medical Council of India.
