Indian Institute of Medical Science Jalna MBBS Admission Process

Admissions to any of the Medical Courses in IIMS&R, Jalna are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam i.e. NEET-UG and NEET-PG for Postgraduate courses. Indian Institute of Medical Science & Research, Jalna offers MD and MS Courses in several Clinical and Non-Clinical programs. 

Students who wish to take admission in this college, need to obtain the required percentile in NEET followed by the counseling conducted by Maharashtra CET. All the students seeking admission into IIMS&R, Jalna need to register themselves on the official website of Maharashtra CET at the time of counseling. Only NEET-qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the counseling. 

For MBBS Aspirants:
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same. 
  • Candidates need to attain 17 years of age till 31st of Dec. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained in any circumstances.
  • Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile. 
For MD/MS Aspirants:
  • Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.
  • Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March in the same year of applying.
  • Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.
  • Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET-PG for General Category and reserved category, the requirement is 40 percentile in the same.                                
Indian Institute of Medical Science Jalna: Seat Matrix 

As per the guidelines laid down by NMC (Earlier MCI) and the relaxation given by the Govt. of Maharashtra, JIIU’s Indian Institute of Medical Science & Research, Jalna offers admission to the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses of the college. Since the college is a Muslim minority medical institute so 85% of seats in MBBS are reserved for the community and the rest 15% needs to be filled by Management/NRI quota.

Indian Institute of Medical Science Jalna: MD/MS Admission 

As one of the newest Medical Colleges in the Jalna district of Maharashtra, the Indian Institute of Medical Science & Research, Jalna is imparting several Advanced Postgraduate Medical Courses. At present, IIMS&R offers MD in several Clinical and Non-Clinical specializations along with MS in Orthopaedics and ENT, etc with a duration of 3 years. 

All the admissions to these PG Courses in the IIMS&R, Jalna are based on the score of NEET-PG followed by the centralized counseling conducted by the Maharashtra Cet, Mumbai on the behalf of DMER, Mumbai. 

Candidates need to participate in the counseling conducted by MahaCET for distinct quotas.
