All the admissions to the MBBS Program are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam. NEET i.e. National Eligibility Entrance Test is conducted twice a year by NTA (National Testing Agency) to provide admission to AIMS, Ujjain. Amaltas Institute of Medical Sciences offers MBBS and B.Sc, M.Sc Nursing in several Para-Clinical specializations.Students who wish to take admission in AIMS, Ujjain need to obtain the required percentile in NEET followed by the counseling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh. For MBBS Aspirants:
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same.
- Candidates need to attain 17 years of age. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained in any circumstances.
- Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile.
Amaltas Institute of Medical Sciences, Ujjain: Seat Matrix for Distinct Quotas
As per the collective guidelines of NMC and Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, AIMS, Ujjain offers admission in distinct quotas in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the college itself.
There is a High Court, Jabalpur judgment in 2016, according to which, 85% seats are reserved for state quota only and candidates not having domicile of MP can only claim 15% of seats in the Management/NRI category. Orders are prevailing to MBBS Program. Additionally, 30% of seats in the state quota are reserved for female candidates. Only NEET-qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the counseling. Amaltas Institute of Medical Sciences, Ujjain offers Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery. The degree conferred by the AIMS, Ujjain is approved by National Medical Commission, New Delhi.
The MBBS course in AIMS, Ujjain is 5.5 years long including 1 year of mandatory internship. Candidates seeking admission to MBBS in AIMS, Ujjain need to qualify NEET-UG followed by the Counselling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh.
