All the admissions to any of the UG and PG Courses in CIMS&H, Lucknow are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam i.e. NEET-UG and NEET-PG for Postgraduate courses. CIMS&H, Lucknow offers MD and MS Courses in a number of Clinical and Non-Clinical programs. Students who wish to take admission in this college, need to obtain the required percentile in NEET followed by the counseling conducted by UPDGME. For MD/MS Aspirants:
- Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.
- Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March in the same year of applying.

As per the guidelines of NMC (Earlier MCI), Career Institute of Medical Sciences & Hospital, Lucknow offers admission in distinct quotas in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses of the college. Since CIMS&H is a Minority Institution so as per the directives laid down by the UP Directorate General of Medical Education, 50% of seats are reserved for the Muslim Community and the rest 50% seats are reserved for General Candidates.
