MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS) or also referred to as the Ramaiah University, is a private-funded university established in 2012. The university has two campuses (Gnanagangothri and Peenya) across Bangalore, and its head office is being developed in Yeralakkenahali Village. Ramaiah has 10 faculties offering courses in streams like Engineering and Technology, Art and Design, Management and Commerce, Mathematical & Physical Sciences, Life and Allied Health Sciences, Dental Sciences, Pharmacy, Hospitality Management and Catering Technology, Social Sciences and Law with more than 8,000 students and over 500 teachers. It is approved by the AICTE and has a NAAC Grade “A” certification. As of 2020, the university ranked at 11 position for Best Dental Colleges in India by the NIRF. Some of the popular courses offered at the Ramaiah University include BTech in Aerospace Engineering, Bachelor in Pharmacy, BDS, among others.   

 The university has signed various international partnerships and MoUs. Some popular MoUs with overseas institutions include Michigan Technological University (USA), Coventry University (UK), among several others. It also offers merit and need-based scholarships. However, students enrolled in a specific programme (like BTech or AYUSH course) are entitled to subject-based scholarships.
