All the admissions to the UG and PG Courses are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam. NEET i.e. National Eligibility Entrance Test is conducted twice a year by NTA (National Testing Agency) to provide admission to PCMS, Bhopal. For MD/MS Aspirants:
- Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.
- Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March in the same year of applying.
- Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.
- Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET-PG for General Category and for reserved category, the requirement is 40 percentile in the same.
Peoples Medical College Bhopal: Seat Matrix for Distinct Quotas
As per the collective guidelines of NMC and Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, PCMS, Bhopal offers admission in distinct quotas in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the college itself.
There is a High Court, Jabalpur judgment in 2016, according to which, 85% seats are reserved for state quota only and candidates not having domicile of MP can only claim 15% of seats in the Management/NRI category. Orders are prevailing to MBBS Program. Additionally, 30% of seats in the state quota are reserved for female candidates. Only NEET-qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the counseling.
