R. N. Shetty Institute of Technology (RNSIT) Admission Process

CET

The government of Karnataka conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET). A merit list is produced based on the results of the examination. This exam is held every year in the months of April or May.

COMEDK

This exam is conducted for students who do not form Karnataka as well. This is also held every year in May.

Admissions are made according to merit, and students are required to appear for document verification. It is done through counselling sessions based on these results.

RNS Institute consists of an independent placement cell, which has been helping students since 2002. Special training courses are conducted for students through this cell, enabling them to learn a new skill to help them in the working world. Furthermore, industry visits are organised and encouraged.

To increase the chances of recruitment, this placement cell conducts training in various important skills, along with mock placement tests and interviews. The average salary of a graduate ranges from 2.65 lakhs to 6.2 lakhs.

The offers received for the last 5 years reached a new record of 852 offers in 2019, with a record 104 companies visiting on campus. The most common companies include Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Bosch, and Atos Origin.
