Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences based in Indore is one of the earliest medical colleges in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The medical college is popularly known as SAIMS, Indore. SAIMS, Indore was established in 2003 and has been promoted by the Bhandari Group of Hospitals.

The idea behind the establishment of SAIMS, Indore was to promote advanced medical education at distinct levels. SAIMS, Indore is founded as per the inspiration drawn from Sri Aurobindo and the mother. The Institute is functioning with the objective of providing independent and accurate solutions to medical issues ranging from sophisticated Cardiac Surgery to common ailments at the most affordable cost and maximum benefits to the common people.

All the admissions to the UG and PG Courses are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam. NEET i.e. National Eligibility Entrance Test is conducted twice a year by NTA (National Testing Agency) to provide admission to SAIMS, Indore.
