About College

Subbaiah Institute of Medical Sciences is a newly established private medical college. The medical college is popularly known as Subbaiah Medical College and abbreviated as SMC, Shimoga. Subbaiah Medical College was established in 2012 and has been an integral unit of Tadikela Subbaiah Trust. The parent organization is a Private, Unaided, and Charitable Trust that has been doing exemplary work in the field of medical education. SMC, Shimoga is precisely located in the Shimoga district of Karnataka.

The campus of SMC, Shimoga is widely spread over a 32 acres campus full of lush greenery and reflects a picturesque view. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same.
Candidates need to attain 17 years of age. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained in any circumstances.
Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile.
