The Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2025 for the academic year 2025-26 will be conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra. The counselling is for admissions to various medical and allied courses that include MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and BUMS. The counselling is for filling up 85% of State Quota seats.
Eligibility to take part in the Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2025 requires candidates to have cleared the Maharashtra NEET UG cutoff. The candidates must possess the domicile certificate of the state of Maharashtra and should have completed their 10th or 12th standard from a school/institution in Maharashtra. The counselling process will be conducted online and will include steps such as the declaration of merit lists, seat matrix listing, registration process, participation in counselling rounds, result announcement, institute reporting for seat confirmation and document verification.
The counselling for MBBS and BDS courses will be conducted separately along with counselling for AYUSH and other allied medical programmes. Some of the prominent colleges taking part in the counselling process are Lokmanya Tilak Medical College, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Rajiv Gandhi Medical College & Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital, Grant Government Medical College, Seth GS Medical College, Indira Gandhi Medical College, etc.
The NEET UG 2025 exam was held on May 5, 2025, and results were declared on June 4, 2025. Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2025 will likely commence in the month of August 2025.

The CET CELL NEET UG 2025 counselling for Maharashtra will be conducted for allotment of seats in state quota seats in government/corporation, government-aided and all quota seats in private/minority colleges located across the state. The whole procedure of Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2025 will be done online through the official website . MBBS and BDS seat allotment were subject to the counselling procedure in which they had taken part on the strength of qualification for NEET 2025, it added. A total of 9,000 MBBS and 3,526 BDS seats in the state will be filled through Maharashtra NEET UG counselling.
